DECORATE WRIST WATCH...

Good Morning...

This is my first post. Actually I want to publish this post, because lacking of school projects, mainly for kids, while searching in Google. And, I’m interested to do my son’s school projects along with him ( yes, I didn’t get an opportunity  to do this kind of project when I was in school).

One main thing, most of the parents do their kid’s school activities/projects without their kids involvement. It’s very wrong. Try to make your kids to involve/help when doing it. This kind of activities will improve the student’s creativity & involvement.

My son got one week end activity to decorate a wrist watch with Match Sticks. First we have to teach the use of match sticks & wrist watch to our children (even they did not listen). This will help your kids to understand what is match stick & wrist watch at least.

Please look at the decorated wrist watch picture.

First I told to my son to arrange four groups which have six match sticks in each group. So, he can count the numbers & able to arrange it. This small thing will increase your kids counting ability & involvement.

Second I asked to see the real watch (it may be wall clock or wrist watch) and check the numbers where it placed. He said one by one with slow manner(struggled little bit). Then I confirmed the numbers placement with him & wrote it.

Finally I asked to check how many hands(hour hands & minute hand) are there, after getting the answer, I pasted the tiny match sticks & colored to highlight it.

I didn’t asked about the time to him, because he’s just studying LKG(Kindergarten) & mainly, I didn’t want to make him bored or  getting angry to ask questions again and again.

Yes, finally, we finished his school weekend activity with our best & enjoy ourselves.

Note : I used to paste all the match sticks by fevicol(white glue), but, you can use any type of it.

Please take a look the picture again.

I hope this helps to you, to get an idea to mingle your kids in their school activities/ projects and you can do their projects at very best with your kids help & involvement.

Have a nice day....Ramesh...

DECORATE PONGAL FESTIVAL

This time my kid received an activity regarding pongal festival. We need to color & decorate the picture which is regarding pongal festival. Required Items: Crayons Sketch pens First select a relevant color and ask your kid to color it(using crayons). While your kid doing this, better to explain the celebration of pongal and what are the items using for celebration. Refer below picture. Once the color part is over, then draw an outline for all pictures using sketch pens. Refer below picture. If you want to decorate more, you can use some glittering items for picture.

COLOR THE GRAPES BY COIN

Using 5 rupee coin, we have to color the given grapes. We can use purple or green color for the grapes. Items Required: Color Pencil /Crayons 5 Rupee coin This activity is very simple and your kid will enjoy doing this. First, place the coin properly (under the grape circle) in the given paper and ask your kid to color it. You can use color pencil /crayon to color it. Better you select purple color for the grapes and green color for the leaf. Once, your kid color the single circle of the grapes, then move the coin to the next circle and ask your kid to color it. Mainly, the coin (5 rupee) trace should be visible in the grapes circle. So, do not add more color to the circle. Once, your kid colored all the grapes, then moves the coin under the leaf section, ask him/her to color it. That’s all, the activity is over and it will take 15-20 minutes to finish. And, I’m sure your kid will enjoy doing this activity. Comments are always welcome…
