This month(December) my kid’s school celebrated as a White day , because this winter season have lot of snow(ice) and it looks like white environment everywhere (but not in Tamilnadu). Then I used shining white color for snowman (see below picture). Finally, I placed the white chart on the thermocol sheet. And I fixed the sheet using ball pins (see below picture)

COLOR THE GRAPES BY COIN

Using 5 rupee coin, we have to color the given grapes. We can use purple or green color for the grapes. Items Required: Color Pencil /Crayons 5 Rupee coin This activity is very simple and your kid will enjoy doing this. First, place the coin properly (under the grape circle) in the given paper and ask your kid to color it. You can use color pencil /crayon to color it. Better you select purple color for the grapes and green color for the leaf. Once, your kid color the single circle of the grapes, then move the coin to the next circle and ask your kid to color it. Mainly, the coin (5 rupee) trace should be visible in the grapes circle. So, do not add more color to the circle. Once, your kid colored all the grapes, then moves the coin under the leaf section, ask him/her to color it. That’s all, the activity is over and it will take 15-20 minutes to finish. And, I’m sure your kid will enjoy doing this activity. Comments are always welcome…

DEFORESTATION

This project will be given from most of the schools. And, it’s very simple to do it. Deforestation is nothing but to destroy trees(forest) for constructing homes. So, first we have to buy some trees & animals for the project. It will be available in any stationary shop. Take a thermocol sheet and color it (use some bright color which is relevant to the project, here, we can use green/brown color). Paste trees & animals in the colored thermocol sheet (Refer below picture). You can use glue (fevicol) to paste those items.  If you have any truck/lorry toy, you will use it for this project. Collect some tree branches(small) and cut it in small size as sticks, then tide those sticks along with the truck. Paste all the items in proper place on the thermocol sheet. That’s all, project ‘Deforestation’ is ready. “When we destroy trees, we are destroying ourselves” Comments are always welcome…

Normally kids want to make any shapes like car, train, cow etc., and they don’t bother whether it’s possible to make the desired shapes. Some shapes will be given along with clay from stationary shop. Apart from the shapes, they love to make new shapes. One Sunday, my son and myself together made some shapes with clay. Using the given shapes, we made it like car, house, elephant, dog & cat. And we tried to make train and truck. See the below picture. We enjoyed the time & my son got some creative ideas when doing these things. So, My humble request to you guys, spend some time with your kids by doing these kind of things. Really, your kids will enjoy. Comments are always welcome….

DECORATE YAK.....WITH JUTE

Good Morning Guys.... This time we’re going to decorate a YAK with jute. Yes, my son got this school activity for his week end. First of all, we have to select the JUTE, whether it’s a normal or stitched (sew together). We have the picture of YAK with outlined drawing. And, I had a stitched JUTE sacking bag luckily in my house. So, first I took a small square shape of jute then I cut into small pieces of it as per the YAK picture shape. Finally I pasted it using Fevicol (white glue). It’s simple one compare to our previous activity. Finally, I marked the picture outline(border) like legs, eye etc., using marker to highlight it.  Hope this helps…       Have a nice day….

DECORATE WRIST WATCH...

Good Morning... This is my first post. Actually I want to publish this post, because lacking of school projects, mainly for kids, while searching in Google. And, I’m interested to do my son’s school projects along with him ( yes, I didn’t get an opportunity   to do this kind of project when I was in school).   One main thing, most of the parents do their kid’s school activities/projects without their kids involvement . It’s very wrong. Try to make your kids to involve/help when doing it. This kind of activities will improve the student’s creativity & involvement. My son got one week end activity to decorate a wrist watch with Match Sticks . First we have to teach the use of match sticks & wrist watch to our children (even they did not listen). This will help your kids to understand what is match stick & wrist watch at least. Please look at the decorated wrist watch picture. First I told to my son to arrange four groups which have six match sticks i
